2. General

Our apps are designed to be used without registration and without transmitting personal data to our servers. All data you enter in our apps is stored exclusively on your device – the only exception is the optional “Live Score Sharing online” feature of the Padel Score app (section 8).

3. Access to contacts

Some of our apps can access your address book if you wish. This access only takes place after your explicit consent. Imported data is stored exclusively on your device and is not passed on to third parties.

You can revoke contact access at any time in the iOS Settings under Privacy → Contacts.

4. Local notifications

Some of our apps use local notifications to remind you of events or tasks. These notifications are generated exclusively on your device. No data is transmitted to external servers.

5. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Our free apps contain ads from the provider Google AdMob (Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). AdMob may process the following data:

Data processing by Google AdMob is based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. More information on data processing by Google: policies.google.com/privacy

You can permanently disable ads by purchasing the Pro version in the respective app.

6. In-app purchases (StoreKit)

In-app purchases are handled exclusively via Apple’s StoreKit. Redman Labs does not receive any payment data. Apple’s privacy policy applies: apple.com/privacy

7. Location data (Reanimo – AED map)

In the Reanimo app you can optionally, as part of the paid Pro upgrade, open a map showing defibrillator (AED) locations near you. When you open this map for the first time, the app asks for location permission (“While Using the App”) via Apple’s CoreLocation framework. Without your consent no location is determined; in that case the map shows a default region without positioning.

When opening, moving or zooming the map, the app loads AED locations for the visible map area. For this, the currently visible map area (the coordinates of the map edges) is sent to the OpenStreetMap Overpass API. This also happens if you have not granted location permission – in that case only the displayed map area is transmitted, not your own location. As with any internet connection, the server technically also receives your IP address.

If you allow access, your position is used for the following purposes:

Your location is processed solely on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. The map area is transmitted to provide the AED map you opened (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). Neither your position nor the map area is stored by Reanimo or Redman Labs or transmitted to our own servers. You can revoke location permission at any time in the iOS Settings under Privacy & Security → Location Services → Reanimo; the AED map will then continue to work with a default region.

8. Live Score Sharing online (Padel Score)

In the Padel Score app you can optionally share a running score online. The app creates a 4-digit code for this. Anyone who knows the code can follow the score live without signing in at redmanlabs.web.app/live/<code> or in the app. If you wish, exactly one other person can act as referee and enter points from their device. No data is transmitted unless you activate this feature.

Services used: Firebase Realtime Database and Firebase Authentication (anonymous sign-in) provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The database is operated in the EU (Google Cloud region europe-west1, Belgium). Google processes the data on our behalf under the Firebase Data Processing Terms (Art. 28 GDPR).

Anonymous sign-in: So that only your device can change the score and only the one referee can send points, the app signs in anonymously with Firebase Authentication when you activate the feature. A random user ID is created – without name, email address or phone number. As with any internet connection, Google technically also processes your IP address and device information. Firebase Authentication may also process data in the USA; Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Data stored:

As the score can be viewed publicly with the code, it is best to use only initials or nicknames as team names and to share the code only with people who are meant to watch.

Purpose and legal basis: Providing the live feature you activated (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Where team names or initials of other players are concerned, processing is based on our legitimate interest and that of the players in following the score together (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Retention and deletion: Every entry expires automatically – 24 hours after the end of the match, and for matches that are not ended at the latest 6 hours after the start. After that the score can no longer be retrieved; this is enforced by the database’s security rules. If you stop sharing in the app, the entry is deleted. Expired entries are overwritten at the latest when the code is assigned again. The anonymous user ID contains no information about you; it is removed from your device when you delete the app. On request to the email address below we will also delete entries immediately.

Live website: When you open redmanlabs.web.app/live/…, your browser loads the Firebase JavaScript SDK from Google servers (www.gstatic.com) and connects directly to the database; your IP address is technically transmitted to Google in the process. The page sets no cookies and uses no tracking. The language is taken from your browser settings.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing of your personal data. Apart from the live score feature (section 8), we do not store any data on servers; you can completely delete all other app data by uninstalling the app.
